Mistake made
I made a mistake and bid and I'm winning on something from China. Now I usually wouldn't complain about it but with more and more fake sports memorabilia coming out of that area I'm concerned. Is there any way eBay or myself can cancel me being the highest bidder?

-Your first option is to message the Seller and ask them to Cancel your bid. If they do not honor that request you can simply not pay for the item unless they have Auto-pay turned on. If you do not pay for an auction when it ends then message them to cancel the transaction.
-eBay does have a Bid retraction process but there are only 2 reasons Buyers can Retract a bid. You can read about that here: Retracting a bid | eBay
-With regard to fake items being produced in that region one question to ask if the item you are bidding on was originally made here is how did it get over there?
