Mistake in listing ie; foreign currency and foreign shipping
Due to listing on eBay.com not eBay.co.uk my selling listing was shown in US$ not £ as originally listed and my statement of shipping to uk mainland only was omitted.
A buyer in the USA promptly purchased my item and promptly payed. I’ve notified the buyer of the mistake and requested that they cancel the purchase as there’s no way I can pay the exorbitant shipping cost and poor £ to $ rate.
Any helpful suggestions please.
Otherwise I’ll just have to close my eBay account after 22 years and 100% good feedback on over 450 transactions.
