Missing seller
Originally made a purchase on eBay through my cash app and after I made the purchase I noticed that I never got a confirmation email I never got any message from the seller whatsoever seemingly disappeared I don't know who the seller is I do have a order number however when I put that order number into my eBay to look for it it can't find it what do I do?

Sadly, I think you were scammed. eBay does not allow payment through Cashapp.
How did you fund the payment? If you used a credit card, you may have some recourse.
If you do not see the transaction on eBay and if you didn't get an order number, the transaction likely was not on eBay and they can't help you.
It sounds like this guy just convinced you to send him cash with no recourse.

OP6 days agoEBay does allow payments from cash app it just doesn't know it because when you sign up for cash app you get a virtual card and you get an actual debit card I'm sure it's indistinguishable from any other debit card because this the debit card that I use for all my transactions online even eBay this works with the virtual card as well. I do believe you are right though I was scammed. The thing is that it was an actual Ebay listing that I went to like I had been looking for a crash bars all day or all morning and settled on that one I was on the eBay app when I got it I never had any communication with the seller prior to nmaking the purchase. I currently have cash app running and investigation on that transaction all I have is a ID that they have on file from the transaction which is an eBay invoice number. I called them today and they could not find anything in their system matching the numbers that my cash app has on file.

WHO did you call? eBay? They do not have a phone number to call, you have to Request a call back.
Is it possible that you were not logged into your eBay account and purchased as a Guest? Here is what we advise Buyers when that happens:
Whether you purchased as a Guest intentionally or accidentally here is what we advise:
First, you are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from receipt: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
Next, you may have inadvertently purchased as a Guest so you will have to log OUT of your eBay account to do anything with the Guest purchase. The email you received should have a link for you and this Help page will assist you as well: Buying as a guest | eBay
On a side note, Guest purchases cannot be merged with an eBay account nor can you leave Feedback on the transaction.
Have you purchased on eBay before via a debit card linked to your cash app?

OP6 days agoYes , I'm very familiar with eBay I used to be a seller on eBay and I spent over $3,000 with eBay from that same card in the last 2 months

Thank you and that is what I thought. Are you sure you did not get an email confirmation of the purchase? If so and as mentioned it may have been an inadvertent Guest purchase.
I will say one thing, the order number you shared in the screen shot looks odd. I have never seen one with an asterisk in it. Was the item an automotive part? Was the Seller from the US or elsewhere?
