Missing QR code for shipping label

It forced me to buy the label through the app. Fine. Then it says print it, as in a hard copy, while I’m standing in the post office. He wanted me to go to the library to print a single letter-sized black and white page. Please tell me I messed up and missed the QR code that he could have used to print the label right there. Instead I ended voiding the label, eating the discount, and buying a regular label since there’s no way leaving and coming back was worth $2.50. How do I keep this nonsense from happening again?
