Missing Parcel
Summary: mervyn4908 ordered wheel bearings that were marked as delivered but did not arrive. The seller was unhelpful, repeating that the item had been delivered. Royal Mail's delivery proof and GPS showed a different address with no parcel at the neighbor's house or the incorrect address. The seller was advised to claim from Royal Mail, but continued to insist the parcel was delivered. mervyn4908 is left with no bearings, no refund, and finds eBay's assistance ineffective.
Ordered wheel bearings, tracking shows these were delivered on Friday 18th September however they are not at my address.
Contacted seller who was no help at all, kept repeating that item had been delivered.
Contacted Royal Mail, delivery proof photograph shows parcel but no background so no help whatsoever.
Royal Mail GPS coordinates show delivery to a completely different address which was NOT on the same delivery route as my address, have checked with neighbours who confirm that they do not have parcel.
Royal mail have called at the address that their GPS shows but no trace of parcel.
Royal Mail as mystified as I am.
Have told seller that he must claim from Royal Mail as the contract for delivery is between them and Royal Mail but keep getting same reply that item was delivered.
No bearings, no money, ebay AI help useless.
