Missing Listing?

My engagement ring listing is active and opens by direct link but is not appearing in search or my seller dashboard. I also received a message from a potential buyer but the conversation is not showing up in my messages. Does anyone have any insight?

Hi @heff_k Your listing is gone again. Perhaps eBay suspected something was amiss when an account started four years ago but never used suddenly has a higher end item listed. If it's actually your account and you legitimately listed the ring, maybe you need to re-think your selling strategy. A zero-feedback seller with a higher end item is seem by fraudsters as an easy mark.

You said yourself you didn't know what to make of a message you received but wasn't in your eBay messages. Everybody here knows what to make of it, it was an attempt to con you out of your item. To get out of the fraudsters bullseye, you need to have a higher feedback score, which you can easily achieve by buying items. If you legitimately need to sell a diamond ring quickly, a pawn shop might be the better option for you. They don't pay as much as you might get in a private sale, but they pay cash in your hand and no shipping, no potential to lose both your item and your money. Good luck!

@heff_k < opens by direct link but is not appearing in search > How long ago did you submit the listing. When a listing is submitted, its content is first indexed into a searchable data base. The process can take up to 24 hours, although most don't take that long. If you revise a listing, it goes to the end of the queue again, and the indexing starts anew.
