missing item
I ordered an item on e-bay. Seller sent the item to me. USPS shows it was delivered to my mailbox. But I checked my mailbox every day. I have not received this item. I informed seller one day after the tracking shows delivery. But Seller keeps silent. What should I do? I don't think I should be responsible for the missing item. No delivery signature or picture to show item is in my mailbox. USPS has no answer for the missing items.

Signature is only required on items $750 or more. USPS does not provide delivery photos. Once tracking shows delivery, it is the buyer’s responsibility to contact the carrier for help in locating the package. I know it is frustrating.
You should go to your PO with the tracking # and ask the clerk to look up the delivery. The scanners have gps, so they can see exactly where the package was delivered. If mis-delivered, the carrier should try to retrieve the package.
