Missing Camera icon Search Firefox iPhone App, On Chrome Missing Filter Search Show More & SOLD
Please help, I cannot do any eBay business, About 3 days ago on my Regular iPhone eBay App, there is no longer the list of filters where you can click "Show More" and then search "Sold" items, in order to determine whether or not buy an item to sell on eBay. I have clicked the options and my phone settings are on for the camera & eBay like it has been for years. I have shut phone down and restarted it. I have deleted my regular eBay App and also deleted Firefox App and reinstalled them both.
I CAN see Sold listings with the Firefox App I downloaded, But there is no Camera Icon to click on Barcode or Image in order to search them. Therefore I cannot do any eBay business with my phone out at thrift stores etc. I have spent hours online researching, have deleted apps and redownloaded them, have made sure camera is on for ebay in settings etc. I have an iphone 8 and use the IOS 16, but according to AI, that is still able to do the sold searches and show the camera icon search, and everything has been working for years on this phone, until just a few days ago! I called eBay, and they said I could see the Sold listings on Firefox which I can, but then that didn't help because there is no camera to search the solds items with. Is this a new 2026 issue and if so there should be a lot of people affected. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN. Thank you, Sincerely Rebekah

Someone else asked about this very issue today so there may be an issue, but I am not experiencing it. (AI knows nothing.)
I have an iPhone X (10) and IOS 18.7.2
My eBay App is 6.239.0.4
Using the App
1) Can you find the Solds filter when you do a text search on eBay? Just keep scrolling down, you shouldn't need to click "Show More" just scroll down.
2) If you are doing an image search, can you see the new "Sold Items" at the top? It's only there for image searches - I circled it in Red here
If you don't see the "Sold Items" button at the top, check again if you can see the Sold switch by scrolling down, sometimes you have to scroll forever.
I want to understand the issue to fully to see if we can resolve this.

OP8 months agoThank you so much for your message, pics & interest in my post! Sadly, the answer is No, No and No to all three of your questions with pics. Now I only have a very short list to scroll down, with No Solds filter, and I get the same exact thing when I click on the camera icon at the bottom that says Use your camera to find a match. I have never see the Sold at the top like you show or all the way at the bottom either. Sadly, I am quite convinced that I have to get a new phone to continue selling on eBay because of my old ios 16 which is the most recent system my iPhone 8 can be updated to. I can get the Solds when not in my ebay app but just on ebay.com, but then when I click on the Search blue magnifying glass icon, it will not allow or show a camera icon for barcode or image search. Sending a few pics re above.
If you or anyone else can come up with a solution besides buying another phone that can handle ios 17 and higher, please let me know. I love my old phone that I know how to use. Thanks very much, Rebekah

It might be the IOS issue.
I've found updating iPhones is pretty natural/ easy.
I need to update my Xr, too but I do at least have IOS 18
Follow this thread on the tech board. We are trying to consolidate reports there.
