Missed Sales because I wasn't aware I had "best offers"
I rarely sale on ebay and I have all the options available to me to receive Best offers and to get email notifications. I have my listing setup to reject low offers. I had one customer that messaged me wanting to get a half price discount, after I automatically rejected the offer. I just happened to be on the site at the time, which is the only reason I checked my messages.
Several months later, I haven't had any sales. I find out that I had 11 offers that were pending approval and they eventually expired. I have ZERO opportunity now to contact those buyers to send them my best offer. So long story short, thanks to NOT getting any kind of notifications sent to me (not a spam folder issue or lack of selecting notifications) I have lost over $2,100 in sales that I would have accepted, I didn't know I had the orders coming in... Is there any way to go back and send these customers my best offer? I can't see who they are, just a few letters of the name are all I can see. I've looked through every available option, and there isn't a way to contact them. I could have really used the money. Thanks ebay!

When you have items listed for sale, you should be checking in at least once per day, if not more often.
Yes, eBay should be sending you messages and probably is. They want you to make the sales, too. The messages probably went to your junk mail. Missing one, I’d say it was missed by eBay, but missing 11, I think it is more likely that it is your mail.
You can set an auto accept level for best offers - since you say that you would have accepted all of these offers, why not set a minimum for auto acceptance? But then, would you check in to see if you had sales?

OP8 months agoI shouldn't have to babysit a service that is charging me when I make a sale. I check my email 30 times a day, so if I would have gotten updates about best offers and sells it wouldn't be an issue. I already get daily emails from eBay about other stuff. So, I shouldn't have this issue. I clean out my junk mail every day, and nothing ever came through.
I didn't have it set for auto accept at that time. I also can't figure out how to remove their "1 year warranty" clause, because I don't offer that, it was just automatically put in the ad.
I just checked and these are the emails I am subscribed to from eBay.
BTW, I checked your reply, because I GOT AN EMAIL ABOUT IT.

The 1 or 2 year protection is offered by Allstate at a cost to the buyer. This is not an option you can remove.
I checked the last offer I received - it came from ebay@ebay.com, so you should be receiving the notices. Did you check your messages here on eBay?

OP8 months agoNothing from my messages on here either, other than their typical junk email that they send. I did reply to the low-ball offer from a customer after their offer was automatically rejected. They sent me a message asking me what the least I would take for it.
No other emails about offers from eBay at all. It's like they purposely didn't send me anything. It doesn't make sense, $2,100 is a lot of money to miss for no reason at all. I would have gotten emails if they came through, but it's been nothing but their junk emails.

As far as I know, you don’t get emails for auto declined offers. If you want to see them all, remove the auto declined.
