Misrepresented item but refund is 100.00 less than purchase price

Question

I bought a John Deere Part for a lawn mower that was clearly marked for my model. When it arrived it was marked for a completely different model. I am a mechanic and tried to make it fit but there was no way I could use it. Paid 220.00 but seller will only refund 139.00 and I had to pay shipping of 20.00. Don't see any place on ebay to rectify this. Anyone else have this kind of problem?

Some Top Rated Sellers can deduct up to 50% of the item price if the condition of the item was changed.

You can reach out to eBay to see if the will refund the rest of your purchase, if they don't then you will have to pursue a dispute with your funding source, PayPal, credit card, etc.
