misleading cell phone brands
Why is ebay allowing sellers to advertize cell phones that are not the original manufactures brand but they use the same model information misleading buyers?

Mentor6 months agoSellers are entirely responsible for the item descriptions they provide; eBay has no way of knowing in advance whether those descriptions are accurate or not. eBay never sees what the seller has in stock, what the seller ships, or what the buyer receives. eBay is not examining item descriptions looking for contradictions, errors or omissions, and buyers should not assume that eBay does that.
If you are concerned about whether sellers are describing their wares accurately, choose only to do business with sellers that have an established reputation for selling and delivering the items they describe as shown in their feedback received from their buyers, and avoid sellers that have not been selling long enough to have an established reputation worth protecting.

OP6 months agoAmazon is just as lame. The so called smart people in the Silican Valley can fix this but I believe they don't want to because they would rather appease their sellers than their buyers.
