Misleading "allow ads" button, causing Huge fees. Total Fees and Costs about 1/3 of total sale...
I sold some of my pc parts on here, in which the total sale was $399.00 and about $440 after tax. I was then charged $105 in fees and was left with a total balance of $299. I offered free shipping so I also had to pay for this. When making the listing I clicked a button called "allow ads", which seemed pretty self explanatory, as in allow ads to be seen by your listing to help out Ebay. Well man was I off. This causes an "Ad Fee" of about $50 to be charged with no previous mention of it. I was left with no way to resolve this other than to cancel the entire transaction which would take months to unfold and still have to pay shipping and additional costs. This is just outright unacceptable from Ebay. Not to mention, I was never shown any of this until AFTER the item sold and I shipped it. I think this is incredibly misleading and was wondering if anyone else had a similar run in.
