Miscalculation of weight Fedex
The box was large and bulky making it harder to read the scale. I read a little over 8 lbs. Domestic shipping. When standing in line at fedex I am thinking this box feels alot heavier than just 9 lbs. When on their scal it weighed a little over 18 lbs, not a little over 8. Oh no. I tried to pay the difference. They said it is in the system and they will bill the remainder when they catch it. Is this how it works? Will they just bill ebay and ebay in turn will charge me?

Mentor2 weeks agoCorrect. FedEx will catch the difference when moving through their sorting centers and will bill eBay who will then take the money from you. Keep in mind that large packaging can be subject to DIM (Dimensional) weight and not the actual weight of the package. Also irregular or long packages will be subject to surcharges.
