Message to Seller so small they can't see it
I made an offer on an item and added an important comment for seller: "This offer is contingent upon the item being shipped out by no later than xx/xx/xxxx". (4 days from the order date) The seller had previously received more than 1 negative feedback for not shipping out items so I wanted to make sure the offer wouldn't be accepted if Seller can't get item shipped within 4 days. Apparently the Seller didn't see my message and shipped it out on the 6th or 7th day - with reason "I didn't see your message" This created a big problem for me as I needed the item in a timely manner.
CAN EBAY PLEASE PUT MESSAGES TO SELLER ON THE FIRST LINE WHEN OFFER IS SENT INSTEAD OF BURYING IT AT THE BOTTOM? Thank You!

·2 years agoYour contingency clause was unenforceable anyway, so it doesn’t matter if the seller saw it.

OP2 years agoIf such a contingency clause cannot be made part of the transaction contract then there's no point in making purchases from sellers who are unable to ship time sensitive items in a timely manner.
