Listings or content that promote, perpetuate or glorify hatred, violence, is a policy that does not allow such merchandise. Ebay has sellers selling 86 47 Merchandise. This promotes violence and assassination against the President of the United States. This is in the news of what 86 47 really means even some try to make it out as something else. With 2 attempts already against the President. This just promotes for more attempts. This is serious People are getting visited by the FBI that is promoting this. This can open lawsuits against eBay and sellers dealing with this type of merchandise. Ebay is supposed to be a friendly and safe place to buy and sell.

When I was in my early 20s I had a two-summers job in a restaurant. I learned that "86" means the kitchen had sold out or run out of something, such as cherry pie, or the items necessary to make a fresh batch of the super-secret-recipe barbecue sauce. So, calls of "86 the cherry pie!" or "86 the barbecue beef!" were not unheard of.
Nobody wanted to assassinate cherry pie or tomato sauce or secret spices.
My suggestion to you is this: if a shirt or hat has numbers painted or embroidered onto it that you don't like --
Don't Wear It. Don't Buy It.

8647 doesn't promote violence. Neither does 8646 and there are those listings too.
It's political speech suggesting the person wants/wanted 47 or 46 removed from office.
