Medical emergency
A friend has an eBay store and she had a stroke. I called ebay the day of, and they dropped the ball. They left people still order and let her store take hit after hit. I need help to help her. She went in Oct 21 2025 and came home Dec 25 2025. She is still dealing with issues from the stroke. But eBay is not working with her. What can I do?

I don’t think there is anything you can do unless you have power of attorney.
eBay customer service would need to speak either with your friend or with a person who has power of attorney for her. Then the defects caused by the emergency can be appealed and potentially removed.
I assume her active items have either been ended or at least placed on time away, so that nothing else can be sold right now?

OP8 months agoShe has reached out to them. I called, on the day of her stroke and it is documented. They allowed cases to be opened while she was unconscious for months. Now she is trying to get her life back together and they just do not care. But we did what to protocol says to. We just don't know what to do

Unfortunately, I don’t think there is anything more you can do if they have already denied the appeals.
You might try reaching out to eBay for sellers to ask them if there are any additional appeals available. Your friend will need to post a private message on instagram 6am to 6pm PST -
