    Media shipping rate?
                     

    Why does my original shipping weight change when I choose the Media Recommendation "apply recommendation".

    The amount the buyer will pay drops but I'm not comfortable that the original correct weight also drops.

    You always want to use your actual package information on the listing. The recommendation is the average that other sellers use for similar items and is rarely accurate to your package. You will be purchasing the shipping label for your package and you do not want to have the buyer pay less than it will cost you to ship.
