Media Mail not an option when printing label
I have sold a magazine and listed it with USPS Media Mail Shipping. Buyer has selected that service. When I try to print the label through email, it defaults to USPS Priority Mail and will not allow me to select USPS Media Mail. I have used this service many times in the past. Why is it not working today?

Mentor2 years agoMagazines have never been allowed to be shipped via Media Mail. Since any Media Mail package can be opened and inspected at any point throughout the shipping stream, you are very lucky not to have been caught.
The reason you don't see the option now is that USPS has asked eBay for their help in cutting down on the fraudulent use of Media Mail. So eBay took it off the list of options for magazines.

Because magazines contain advertising, they don’t qualify for media mail.
