Media Mail isn't available as an option!!!!!
What is going on with USPS MEDIA MAIL? This is my second post with no response and the automated system is junk. Media Mail is Buyer Selected and I've used it for years yet now it is unavailable as an option. Yesterday I had to take six packages to the USPS retail window in order to ship them using Media Mail - instead of being able to print the labels through eBay and drop them in the box.

OP2 years agoThe problem is eBay has decided to limit film to two categories. If I have a film depicting an airshow from 1930, the chances that anyone collecting aviation material won't see it because it is listed in the "film" category - not one of the many aviation sites. I should be able to list that film is a film specific category AND aviation. I've been doing other categories for years with excellent results. Now, not only my sales will suffer, but eBay fees as well. Let USPS do their job and examine Media packages to determine the cheats. Those are the real villains - not those who utilize various categories to their advantage and actually sell Media items.

If using multiple categories is that important, then I would use pirateship for shipping.
Inspecting every media package would just drive up the price of all usps services. I do think eBay could do something more creative than just blocking non-media categories.

I agree with what they suggested, that having your items in 2 categories, one of which probably doesn’t meet media mail requirements is causing your issue.
Also as suggested, you can open a free account at pirateship.com. Import your order info and print your labels. Pirateship will then send the tracking back to eBay.
