Media mail
Trying to ship records and media mail option doesn't come up. The Ebay customer service guy has no clue.

Mentor10 months ago@elwoodomdahl The problem is the category. That is why you can't buy the media mail label on eBay. Records do qualify for Media Mail.
You can buy the Media Mail label for the same price as eBay at the post office.
You can also buy the label from Pirateship.com too
You can get Media Mail on Pirate Ship by checking the "Qualifies for Media Mail" box under "Extra Services" after creating a single label. This option is available for eligible items like books, videos, and music, but it will not appear in the Pirate Ship's Rates Calculator.
Just be sure to CAREFULLY enter the tracking number on to the sold item. If you link your account with Pirateship it should be automatically entered for you.

The last listing with records that you sold was listed in the Collectibles & Art category rather than one of the categories for media. Media Mail is only an option for items listed in media categories.
for this sale, you can purchase a label at Pirate Ship (pirateship.com) which integrates with eBay sales. If you haven't used it before, it's good to try it out anyway to see how it works in case you need a back up plan when eBay shipping goes down (which only happens rarely, but it always seems to be when you need it most).
