Mechandise returns to China sellers
I was advised that the Chinese seller could not issue a label but once they received the return which they did they would reimburse for shipping charges. I checked with an EBay cr by phone and she advised me to mail item back, as seller requested, and upload a copy of the tracking and the postage amount to the case file for reimbursement, which I did. After contacting seller on many occasions with no reply, I started contacting EBay reps, with each one telling me to contact seller (which as noted I had done) and on two occasions asking me to upload the postal invoice two more times, which I did, only to have some reps from EBay say EBay would reimburse me, and several others namely: an Angelo J., Jethro S., Tala G. , Hazelyn B, Carol G., C. Charmaine to name a few who I have received only "canned" messages and false promises from. Can anyone guide me to someone they may have dealt with that resolved a situation such as this? thank you.

Mentor1 year ago@joygr815 I am so SORRY that you received bad advice from agents on how to handle a return to China. eBay can never make the seller refund more than the original sale price. Returns to China must be shipped with Priority Mail or their will not be any tracking to prove delivery. International First Class does not have electronic delivery confirmation to all countries.
Here's the LONG instructions that I made to deal with international returns, especially the ones to China. I recommend contacting customer service agents on Social Media and tell them that you followed the VERY BAD INCORRECT advice and now the seller is not refunding you. eBay should refund you out of their pocket for this mistake. Social Media agents are more experienced.
RETURNS TO OTHER COUNTRIES>
The seller will not be able to provide a valid return label since they are located in another country. If the seller shipped from the US they are not allowed to require a return to another country even for buyers remorse returns.
The seller has the choice of sending you the money to pay return shipping to your PayPal account OR refunding you without a return of the item. Do NOT pay return shipping yourself and expect to be refunded for it after the item is returned even if an agent says to do this as eBay can not force a refund from the seller for more than the original sale price.
eBay may place the case on hold for 5 days if the seller chooses the PayPal option.
99% of the time a seller in another country will refund without a return of the item once you involve customer service.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service on social media:
Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

If you do have to buy a return label with the funds the seller provided then you must enter the tracking number into the return request so you will have proof of the return.
Adding tracking to your return
Adding tracking details to your return helps protect against delays or issues in the refund process. If you use an eBay returns label, tracking details are automatically uploaded.
Here's how to add the tracking information to your return if you're using your own return shipping label:
Go to the return request in Purchase History.
Select the shipping carrier from the dropdown list. If you select Other, enter the carrier name.
Enter the tracking number.
Select Mark as sent.
