Making offers
When trying to make a offer on a item it comes up default payment. What is this If this continues I will not be buying on ebay much longer. I messaged some sellers about this and they really did not know to do. This is bad for everyone and must go.....

Mentor3 years agoeBay is gradually moving towards immediate payment required on all buying formats (best offer, auctions, buy it now) due to the ridiculously high incidence of buyers who don't pay, disrupt the marketplace for other buyers, and cost sellers time and money.
You can of course choose to buy somewhere else, but where else can you commit to buy and not pay immediately?
At least for now, you can skip making offers and just pay full price from sellers who don't require immediate payment.

·3 years agoSellers have been complaining about buyers making offers, then not paying when they are accepted.
This way, if your offer is accepted, it's automatically paid and sellers don't have to wait for payment.
The seller can turn off the option if they want.
