Making best offers
As of today I find after 20 plus years on ebay that I now have to choose a payment method before I can send a best offer. I find this inconvenient to say the least. As I also sell I did further research and found that my buyers were requird to do the same. I removed this restriction in my manage buyers list. The question are has eBay migrated everyone into this program? As a buyer can I somehow opt out just as I removed the buyer restrictions or does the seller have to do this? Appreciate any clarifications.

OP3 years agoI was able to turn off the Ebay best offer immediate preferred payment method for my buyers. Sales have improved when buyers don't feel pressured to have to pay immediately and funds are held up while they are waiting for me to accept or decline. If I have a buyer that doesn't pay I can wait the four days to relist the items.

No, there's nothing a buyer can do, it's up to the seller if they want to use the option or not.
