Making an offer and choosing a payment method …feature only allows a credit card
I am trying to make an offer on an item. eBay is asking me to choose a payment method. The only two options are credit card debit card or PayPal. I prefer to use Apple Pay. In my case, the only option that appears to work is the credit card option. I do not want to load my credit card on the eBay system. How can I use an alternate payment method? At this point when I choose Paypal which I would rather not choose I get a message that says Paypal is ready attached to my account. However it doesn’t let me select PayPal. I have no idea what’s going on. This is entirely dysfunctional.

PayPal sounds like it's already selected as your payment method. In my experience selecting PayPal only allows me to pay using my bank account. It doesn't allow me to use a credit card.
