If you are using a browser and having problems making offers, try using the eBay app.

OP5 months agoThank you!I prefer the website, not a fan of the app. This problem just started happening in the last 2 days, the message actually says"this page seems to be missing".Weird.Even more weird,I can use the option on some items but not others. On the upside,it keeps me from buyingvstuff I don't really need.:)

Mentor5 months agoYou are welcome.
It may still be worth using the app just to make offers that you cannot otherwise make, even if you would prefer to use the web site, all other things being equal.
Possibly the problem is limited to offers where the seller either requires a payment method in advance (or the other way around).
It might be worth trying a different browser or a different device to make an offer.
If you are using a mobile browser, it might be worth checking which browser is set as your "default" browser. Sometimes installing new apps can also install other programs, and also change default behavior. If your default browser has changed to some obscure non-supported browser, that can cause problems, though that is usually more of a problem when using the eBay app and a browser window needs to be opened automatically.

OP5 months agoI prefer using my tablet.Sometimes the option works and sometimes it doesn't.

Mentor5 months agoI was just able to make an offer using my desktop browser. I received a counteroffer so the offer did go through to the seller, and the seller was able to respond.
Perhaps the issue is fixed or else it does not affect all offers.
