Make it make sense; no protection for the seller?!
I sold a common us coin valued at $680,000!! I am not a coin collector, therefore I sell the coins at a fair price, and this particular coin sold for $300 through my eBay auction. The buyer requested international shipping, the buyer also purchased the shipping method as well as the shipping label. I mailed the item using the shipping label the buyer purchased. The tracking information has been available on the transaction since shipping; however the buyer continued to claim the seller for issues with USPS or customs beyond my control, the tracking information shows item was delivered. I asked eBay to step in to resolve this. eBay sided with me (the seller). The buyer disputed with false information and eBay refunded the buyer and although eBay states a seller can dispute within 30 days of closed cases, there is no option for me as the seller to dispute this. Now my coin is still out of my possession and the buyer has their money! What type of business runs like this?
