Make contact with seller
Enacted an eBay purchase. Item received. Following eBay instructions for making seller contact and the eBay message screen does not allow me to type in a message. Reference attached screen printout. How to correct this problem?

I followed the Browser directions exactly as composed more than a couple of times. The "send message" input screen is found but it will not allow anything to be typed into it. This is especial true even if "...click in the Send Message area at the bottom, you will be able to type a message" direction is enacted.
Question:
Is it possible that something within my account settings is not correctly activated?
Please advise how best to activate the Contact Seller message input screen.

There is nothing to be activated. It's a standard feature for all members.
Where I have highlighted in yellow is where you click and then type.
If it's still not working, I would
Log out and back in.
Clear your cache
Use a different browser (example: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari)

Deleting my laptop computer's cache solved the problem.
[Note: Initially after deleting the computer cache and signing back into the eBay account, the "Message Seller" input screen was still not operational. The key of resolving the problem is cache deletion with enacting a computer restart.
I deeply appreciate the time and efforts expended. Thank you.
