Make an offer is abused and misused by sellers
I am finding my experience on eBay to be negative and frustrating when make an offer is involved. More times than not sellers do not even respond to the offer. These sellers put this on their listing which is not only misleading but manipulative to ebay and its users. There should be a rule and coding implemented that keeps track of sellers who use make an offer and never or very seldom respond to offers. There is no enforcement of etiquette, and it makes for a negative experience on the site.

Mentor2 years agoSellers are not required to respond to offers. Any offer can be accepted, rejected, countered or ignored. Any of those options is allowed.
Not all sellers want to receive offers; in some cases eBay adds the offer to the listing whether the seller wants it or not, and puts it back even after the seller has explicitly removed it.
