Mail Carrier pickup times.
I recently started selling trading cards from my personal collection. I got my first order for a card that is shipped with an envelope. We have outgoing mail slots at our apartment complex and I put it in there the same day the card was bought. It has been almost 3 full days since then and the tracking has not been updated as mail carrier received item. Is waiting over 72 hours normal or do I need to contact the post office?

The PO can’t help you with the eBay standard envelope. The PO does not scan these - the tracking info comes from the letter sorting equipment at the processing centers.
The processing centers can get backed up, so I don’t think 3 days is horrible, especially since the end of Jan is tax document time.
