Made Offer, Counter offer Expired, then was blocked when asking about the offer when resubmitting
Hi all,
I've been buying from ebay on and off for a few years and I'm a little confused with an item. I made and offer of $250 dollars for an item from a seller. Than original price was $489, so I know I cut their value in half, but there was damage to the used item even though it was rare, plus shipping was over $100.
They came back and countered at $350. Unfortunately it was holiday and I missed it. I sent them some emails asking their lowest and if we can make a deal. I cam back and sent the same offer of $350. They replied and said there were competing offers and they could only go to $450. I responded and declined the offer.
After 4 days I saw the item was still listed in their store and asked what the lowest is they are willing to go. I also made an offer and it was immediately declined so they raised their minimum cut off which is completely fine. I told them I wanted to make a deal but didn't want to waste any time. They finally responded and said they won't go any lower, but then also blocked me from making other bids for their entire store.
I guess, I'm confused if I did something wrong in my communication and why a seller wouldn't be transparent? The seller has mostly positive feedback and I understand they can make any decision they want, but it seems odd to block me from the entire store because they denied an offer.
Is there a way I can get ebay to review our entire conversations and all? I honestly felt like they lied about the competing offers to try to get me to pay more, but I could be wrong. I did see they had 50 people watching which is great. I've sold stuff before and honestly, I've never refused any offer. I'd rather somebody have something at a fraction of the cost than me hoarding stuff.

It seems the seller was tried of you low ball offers.
