Lower shipping by buyer?
How did my buyer select a shipping amount of $2.27, when the lowest I can find is over $7 both through USPS? Where do I find that?

You have your items listed with the usps large envelope. The large envelope does not have tracking, so you can’t buy a label through eBay - that is why it moved you up to ground advantage to buy a label.
The large envelope can be used with stamps or pay at the PO, but it is not a good choice for earrings - the large envelope requires the package to be totally flexible and flat - no bumps or lumps.
