Low Sales – Request for Advice to Improve Store Performance
Summary: mirellestores reached out to eBay Support seeking advice on improving sales for their store, which currently has satisfied customers but low sales. arraus responded with several suggestions, such as taking better product photos without packaging, listing new items regularly, and ensuring accurate product descriptions to build trust. They also encouraged mirellestores not to give up and to further research the market viability of their products.
Hello eBay Support, I hope you are doing well. I’m contacting you because I would like some advice on how I can improve my sales. My account currently has no issues, and my customers are satisfied with the products they purchase. Some customers have also returned to purchase from my store again. However, my sales are still very low, and I would like to increase my sales and grow my store. I’m working hard to add more products and provide good service to my customers. Could you please review my account and advise me if there is anything I can do to improve my visibility and increase my sales? I would really appreciate any recommendations or guidance you can provide. Thank you very much for your time and support, eBay Support. Best regards, Mirelle Stores.

Mentor1 month agoHi @mirellestores
-I see you are located in Israel
-I see you only opened your account in May of this year so you are a new Seller and it simply takes time to build up sales and clientele that follow your store's activity
-There is no magic process or procedure to increase sales, it simply takes time and patience providing your items are competitively priced and are of interest to people interested in purchasing.
-You have sold a total of 16 items and only have 12 items for sale ... obviously part of selling is a numbers game and the more you list the more chances are that something will eventually sell.
-Best wishes to your ongoing selling efforts

Hi, yes. I'll do my best to give you my opinion.
Main Images: I would take images of the jewelry without the packaging. Unless it's a desired, recognizable, name brand the packaging may be perceived as cheap and generic to potential buyers. YouTube as a lot of great videos on how to photograph jewelry (simple and cheap with your smartphone).
List more items. Try to list something new every day. You will notice a jump in sales if you do this.
Research past sales to make sure what you're selling sells on eBay. Not everything sells well. If the jewelry is not valuable and is common at pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens, etc.) and other regular stores, then it may not sell even at the lowest price on eBay.
My biggest tip is your photosgraphs, not showing the packaging, and play up the facts (it might be hypoallergenic if it's Stainless Steel).
NOTE: Call things "Gold-tone" or "Silver-tone" if they are plated (not solid 14k, 925 sterling, etc.). People don't trust sellers that have inaccurate titles and that can cost sales.
Don't give up!! I think it's great you came here for opinions. I hope that helps a bit. Use what you want, leave the rest!
Happy selling!
