Low feedback buyer has placed offer on my $5K laptop

Question

I have a high-end MacBook laptop listed right now, and a prospective buyer with relatively low feedback (5) has made an offer to purchase. I'm pretty new to eBay selling, and I'm worried about what kind of scam a low feedback buyer might be able to pull on a high-value item like this.

Do the eBay protections give me enough to let this buyer make the purchase and still be confident that I won't get screwed? Is there anything I can or should do to ensure that the transaction is safe and secure if I do accept the offer?

You have no obligation to accept the offer. If you do, make sure you use signature confirmation and pack it well.

Did your listing have photo's that included the Serial Number?

Google the the address before you ship it.

Add insurance add needed.
