lost package post office is of no help
in Jan a package I sent never was delivered--Ive been going in circles with the post office trying to find or get a refund there was insurance on the package but Im having issues trying to get to send it in I already refunded the buyer
I cant get an answer from a live person all I get are general replies that say to click here if this is your issue so I click there and it takes me right backto square one
Ive clicked at the post office and the answer there was to go on line which Ive done serveral times filing out any form I can find dealing with lost package or insurance
anyone out there have any other ideas of where I could send at this point a compaint
now Im really ticked cause not only am I out the item but also the money since I had to refund
calling is totally useless they say to leave a number instead of being on hold which I was dumb enough to do
twice the first time what a surprise no one called back not that I expected anyone too
the second time I was just going to wait it out on hold which even though it said a to minute wait turned into an hr
what a shock there too the person gave me all the options I already did
wasnt any help after that

Mentor2 years agoYou must file the claim on USPS.com within 60 days. Did you do that?

OP2 years agoyes I tried to go send in the insurance form but for some reason didnt go through
which is when I started calling and filling out forms for anything connected to the post office
today though I called the 1-800 number yet again and talked to the best person Ive ever talked to since this all started
she so very helpful found that my package looks like it never left the state--it showed it was on the way to the distribuation center but nothing after that
she also filed another type of service request to the post office where I dropped it off at
she even explained that my package wasnt in GA thats the place that all packages go when they cant be delived so at least I know its not sitting somewhere in GA
maybe things will change but Im not holding out hope

Mentor2 years agoIf you or the USPS rep filed the claim, it should be paid out to you after 21 days has past whether it later gets delivered or returned to you. Make sure you keep check on the status to get your payment.
