Lost item - what do I do
What do I do? I printed the label off Ebay and delivered the package to our local USPS store that takes these packages for USPS. The item was picked up but has not been scanned by USPS for over a week according to the tracking. The buyer is frustrated and I suspect will request a refund for an item presumably lost at USPS. I have filed a report with USPS but have heard nothing.

Mentor2 years agoThe USPS doesn't consider a package "lost" until 3 weeks have passed. If you do not have a tracking number with an acceptance scan, I would think about refunding the buyer after 3 weeks have gone by without any updates on the tracking.
