Lost item - Seller wont refund, eBay agreed even though I provided UPS proof
I got a lost item. It was never delivered to me. Created a case after the seller just responded to my messages providing the same tracking number that said it was delivered. I reached out to UPS due to not getting any help from the seller, UPS confirmed to me they have no proof of the item being delivered correctly, and they sent a copy of that report to the seller. Then the seller updated the case just providing once again just the tracking number as their response (no other text or explanations). To this, ebay closed the case, even though I provided proof of no delivery by the shipping company. Shouldn't the seller create a claim with UPS and just refund me? Seems illogic to get no help from ebay either when it has been proved that UPS failed to deliver the item (got a PDF with confirmation from them). Due to getting no help from ebay, created a case with paypal to see if it was any better. Seller once again sent the tracking info with no other text and paypal closed the case. So now I got no money, no item, and no refund. Any ideas on how to get my money back? I already bought from another seller as I need the item asap for my car.
