Long story short. Buyer buys item. Pays seller. Item sold is lost after circling the globe for 2 weeks. Seller refunds buyer money. Item turns up at buyers post office. Buyer picks up item. Sends pix of box item was in. Now what?

eBay cannot force the buyer to repay.
