Lost item during shipping at Ebay Hub
Lost item at Ebay International Shipping Hub.
E-Bay thankfully wanting to reimburse the cost of the item. Although I would rather have the item or like item.
The item was a good deal and difficult to find; I would prefer the item replaced (if even from a 3rd party platform; ie., I know where there where there is one for more than I purchased) in leu of monies returned. Being that the item was purchased on a Ebay platform and "lost" while using a Ebay shipping service (not a 3rd party chosen by Seller or Buyer). I consider reimbursement the easy route and not a customer satisfaction happening.
Thoughts?

Mentor1 year agoThe best that ebay is going to do is a full reimbursement. They do not have the staff to try and replace the item by searching for it.
