Lost item
Ok I sent a ebay standard envelope label on a item I sold, it has been lost in the mail so I issued the buyer a refund. This was insured so how do I go about filing a claim when I put the tracking number in usps website is says invalid.

eBay standard envelope tracking and insurance is not through USPS. You need to make the claim through eBay.
This page has information on opening a claim. Near the bottom of the page is the claim information and a big blue button to start the claim.
