Lost in Shipping
I sell low-value cards on eBay. Recently, something got lost in the mail, and eBay adjudicated that I had to give back the money. Since the cards are neither here nor there, I have forfeited them as well. I want to claim at least the $20 insurance that I pay for using eBay services. When I go to USPS and give them the tracking number eBay provides, I'm told it's not a valid tracking number.
Is this common? How do I get something out of this deal, right now, I feel like eBay has screwed me, and no one is trying to help me?
