Lost deal due to ebay reporting address error?

Question

Got a fantastic buy on a vintage vinyl record only to have the sale cancelled because ebay wouldn't allow him to ship it, caiming the same address I've used for years was invalid. Anyone else? (seller relisted and resold before we spoke).

eburtonlab · Answer

You cannot force the seller to complete the transaction, but you can report the seller for cancelling for an inappropriate or false reason. https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicId=4850
