Loosing my mind
Summary: ellanu0 is frustrated after an item they ordered was marked as delivered but was never received. They have tried dealing with USPS, the seller, and eBay without success. Their case was closed quickly by eBay, and they found it difficult to communicate with the platform since many contact options were unavailable. ellanu0 wants to resolve the issue through eBay's money-back guarantee rather than doing a chargeback and is seeking advice on how to effectively get eBay's attention.
I ordered an item and the tracking shows that it was delivered. I have not found it anywhere both inside and out, as well I have received packages before, the day, and after that item was "delivered". My USPS told me I am sol with them, the seller doesn't care because why would they, and eBay closed my case within minutes of me opening it. I tried to appeal it but they closed my appeal withing a few moments as well. Now I am unable to call, or email eBay because they closed most lanes of communication. I do not want to have to do a charge back and would prefer to go through the eBay money back guarantee (because this situation is one of the listed options for requesting that) but they have basically told me that I am not worth dealing with.
Does anyone know how to get the attention of this stupid company that now for some reason believes that their customers are supposed to help other customers opposed from them having a real support team?

Have you checked with USPS to confirm that your shipping address that appears in your order details is the address that was on the package?
If the address on the package does not match the address in your order details, you are likely looking at a case of "false tracking".
If you can, I would suggest obtaining documentation that shows that the package was not addressed to you, then contacting eBay via social media direct message using Instagram and mentioning that you have a case of "false tracking" to be given an opportunity to share your documentation.
If you cannot get documentation, or if that does not work:
Since false tracking allows a scam seller to win an "item not received" case, the next step would be to file a "not as described" return on eBay and be prepared to return exactly what you received if the seller provides for return shipping, or ask eBay to step in after three business days if the seller does not refund you or provide return shipping.
You may have recourse through your payment method if you are unable to get satisfaction through eBay, though once you involve a payment method, eBay can no longer help with that transaction. Be sure you mention "false tracking" specifically, otherwise your provider may assume a simple missing or stolen package and defer to eBay's ruling based on the tracking showing delivery.
In the future, stick to experienced sellers with a long and demonstrated history and avoid new or unproven sellers, or sellers that show warning signs of being drop-shippers or potential scammers: drastic changes in selling behavior or offering deals that are "too good to be true", or shipping heavy items that are unlikely to be profitably shipped via retail shipping.
