looks like USPS lost a package
Tracking stopped somewhere in Texas, and would really like to talk to someone from ebay to figure out what is going on and how this is resolved. Of course I would love to hear from USPS as well, but they dont seem to have a phone service.

OP1 year agoThis was a package that I sent, buyer paid through ebay and USPS label was purchased through ebay. The buyer complained to ebay and they took the money out of my account and placed it on hold (price for the item and the price paid for the shipping). So I am on the hook for not only the item but also the shipping price which was about $75 for the shipping alone.
The phone number for USPS help is just an automated service, and absolutely no help. So I went to my post office, they looked up the tracking and they gave me the same info I already had, that the package was delayed somewhere in Ft Worth Texas. So I asked for a refund for the shipping, they said they couldn't refund me because I was not the one who purchased the postage. I had purchased through ebay, and ebay was the purchaser of the postage, and they would be the ones to do the refund.
Now how do I get in touch with ebay? I used to be fairly easy to get them on the phone, but now its all automated, and none of it is very helpful.

Mentor1 year agoeBay has nothing to do with the shipping of an item other than to sell the shipping label to the seller. You need to talk with the USPS and you can get their contact number from the USPS website. This may shake the package loose from where ever it is. Keep in mind that the USPS does not consider a package lost until it has been at least 21 days since any tracking movement.
