Looking for Guidance
I bought an item on eBay for just over $500 that was shipped by the seller via Ground Advantage. The seller provided tracking, but the item was delayed in transit, and after 14 days with no USPS update, I requested a refund via INR, and the seller voluntarily refunded my money before eBay intervened, and eBay then closed the case, but a week later, the item was delivered by USPS. I immediately reached back out to the seller, and they said they would like the item returned (as I bought another and no longer needed it) and would send me a prepaid shipping label. That was nearly 2 weeks ago, and I have not heard back from the seller after multiple messages inquiring about them sending a prepaid shipping label.
I'm fine with sending the item back to the seller, but I would like to avoid being charged again for the item (which I no longer need) several months down the road if the seller appeals the case and it is reopened and determined that the item was delivered (it is shown as delivered on eBay)
Any guidance on what I should do going forward?

Mentor5 months agoThey are probably not responding to you since eBay already paid them back for the refund they made. When the seller ships their package using the eBay shipping center and you open a case for an "Item not received" and the seller refunds you themselves eBay will refund them once tracking shows the item was delivered to you.
