Longtime eBay Member (Since 2005) - Permanent Selling Restriction Due to False Account Link
Hello eBay Community,
I’ve been an eBay member in good standing since June 9, 2005, with 100% positive feedback and no policy violations. My account was permanently restricted from selling in 2014 due to an alleged association with another account.
I have no connection whatsoever to that account — I’ve never shared devices, IPs, or financials with anyone else. Customer service confirmed this supposed link is the only reason for my restriction, but could not provide proof or offer an appeal path. I did not become aware of this restriction until last year when I attempted to list an item for sale and was prohibited.
This clearly appears to be a false positive account-linking error, and I respectfully request a compliance review by the Trust & Safety or Seller Advocacy team.
I’ve compiled a packet of documentation for my appeal emails and a formal declaration of non-association. I would be deeply grateful if someone could help ensure this reaches the correct internal team for review. Can someone provide me with the email information of ebay team members who can assist to escalate this matter?
