I live in France. Ebay US blocked my account. (Why?). I was told I would have a code sent to me, By the time it had arrived I had switched from phone to desktop. I guess Ebay didn't like that, and I was told to call the US number. I did, the computer asked me my telephone number, then when it received my French number, (I live in France remember, and Ebay have known this for over 5 years), it began asking me which order this concerned, and it was never about an order, but about account access. Another victory for AI ! So how do I restore access to my account?

If you are unable to sign in to eBay at all on any site, use the "Need help signing in?" link on the page where you are prompted to enter your password. From there, choose the "Reset" option, but instead of resetting your password, scroll down and use the "contact" link to try to contact eBay.
