Location filters
I check United States only in location filters. I only look for vendors "located in United States ", so why does a seller saying they are located in California ship an item from CHINA, using Chinese unidentifiable tracking numbers and when you click on the seller directly, say they are located in CHINA- NOT in California as stated ?!!!
This seems deceptive!
Why have location filters if they're useless?

The location filter is for items, not sellers. A seller in another country or another state might have a warehouse in a different location from where he lives. You'll find the seller's country of registration on his feedback page.
You are not alone in wanting a filter for seller country of registration. To let eBay know your thoughts, you'll find a question mark at the bottom right of the home page. You can provide eBay with your feedback there. The more users that ask for the same enhancement, the better the chances of it happening at some point in the future.
