I did not use a new device and it is not located in Wisconsin as you stated. I have used it here for several years and you should update your information.

Mentor2 years agoeBay sends those messages any time there is a sign-in to your account from a new browser or a browser with no cookie from a previous sign-in, or when signing in using a different IP-address.
This can help to alert you if someone else signs in to your account from another location.
The location information shown comes from the network provider and can be affected by things like using a VPN or a hotspot, or by using certain kinds of privacy software.

Mentor2 years ago@waher-20 If you do NOT recognize the location then I recommend changing your password and secret questions.
eBay will send this message anytime you clear your browser cookies or if you use a VPN.
As long as you recognize the device the and location your account is fine and it's just a precaution to protect members accounts.
