Local Sales
We have lost two sales of $1500 do to the local buyer wanted to see equipment before buying and there is no way that we could show the equipment without them paying for it first so that they could see condition of equipment. We have been told by the buyer if they pay for it and then don't want it they can cancel it, but then it can take up to a week before there money is back in there account.

OP3 years agoThis does not help at all, you are telling me that if I find a item for $2,000.00 on and Ebay and it is in the same city that I live in I have to pay $2000.00 to Ebay before I can go look at the item to see if it is what I am looking for and if it is not I wait five or more days to get the money back in my account. a lop of my buyers are local and don't have thousands of dollars in there account to go look at two or three items and put up more money so they can see each item. is it best to put all local sales on Craigs List or offer up and save money for both buyer and seller.

Mentor3 years agoIf the buyer ends up wanting to cancel the purchase after viewing the item, you will then cancel the transaction, but you have to fund the refund back to the buyer's funding source. When the buyer's payment finishes processing, then you will be credited back that money.
