I talked a seller into shipping an item that was listed local p/u only. He is an eBay rookie…I’m wary. Does eBay money back guarantee cover this transaction?

Mentor1 year ago@hillbillypro. The seller should cancel the sale as problem with buyers address and relist with shipping. This way you will have tracking on your purchase.
You are protected by the ebay money back guarantee either way. It's just not good for a new seller to ship an item when they won't be able to upload tracking. No tracking will cause a delay in the sellers payout and not good for their service metrics.
Are you sure that the item can be shipped using regular shipping methods?
